A lot has happened since my last posting. First and foremost, my wife gave birth to another baby – a little boy we’ve named Bryant. That makes four kids and so the nights have been rough, but it’s all good.
In the book, Lia and Colvin are in the middle of the Bearden Muir right now with some big information coming up. The pacing of the story is more frantic now, as they are both being hunted by the sheriff’s men. These are dark days for Lia, since this is the first time she’s been away from the abbey in her life. I think everyone has experienced that sense of homesickness and loneliness at some time in their life. By my best calculation, I think I’m a little over 2/3 of the way through the novel. My plan was about 300 pages, and I’m at 220 right now.
