Had to write the Epilogue for Deep Magic yesterday. We managed to raise close to $1000 in less than 10 days, but it just wasn’t enough. I looked at our downloads and we had nearly 500 in the first week. That is very good, so it’s not that the message did not get out in time. Just only a small fraction of our readers felt that the e-zine was worth paying for. That’s disappointing since we worked so hard on it for four years. I’m proud of what we did. But I guess all good things must come to an end someday.

    Jeff,
I’m sorry to see Deep Magic shut down. I had not been paying attention to DM current events in the last few months because I’ve been so busy. I was shocked last week when I read the Epilogue. I hope all is well with you. I would like to contact you sometime in the future.
    Take Care,
    Darrell
