For some time. I've wanted to know more about the queen's poisoner. These two novellas have been a great look into who she is and how she came to be. I want more of her story!

I’m a huge fan of Jeff Wheeler’s Kingfountain series. This book is a short prequel to “The Queen’s Poisoner”, filling in a few gaps in Ankarette’s earlier life. It’s a quick read and I would love to hear more of her story, but I truly enjoyed the book.
